The founders

Since its creation, the company has filed 14 patents with the INPI (Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle) and has invested more than €2 million in self-funding R&D.

In particular, the company has designed a non-cylindrical LH2 tank that significantly optimizes volume and mass compared to conventional products (cylindrical tanks with vacuum & MLI), as well as a revolutionary compressor-pump capable of being fed with liquid hydrogen (LH2) and converting it into gaseous hydrogen (GH2).

The company has won multiple contracts, particularly for export, which has attracted the attention of major global contractors. In 2023, SHZ Advanced Technologies won the 1st e5t award.

Eric SCHULZ

Eric began his professional career at Airbus before joining UTA/Air France, then AOM, and finally Air Liberté/British Airways. These airlines enabled him to gain extensive operational experience.

In the United States, where he lived for several years, Eric then joined Goodrich, first as President of Aviation Technical Services (TRAMCO), one of the major players in aircraft maintenance and conversion, and then as President of Goodrich Actuation Systems, the world leader in flight controls.

Jean-Michel SCHULZ

Jean-Michel SCHULZ is an engineer specializing in propulsion systems from ISAE-SUPAERO. He began his career at the DGA test centers, primarily working on testing and then qualifying propulsion systems.

Jean-Michel then joined the automotive sector at Valeo, where he served as Quality Manager. Among other things, he introduced innovative projects such as the first plastic lenses on headlights, then moved on to more operational projects in the context of developments, improvement plans, and change management for the clutch division.
